New haircuts gone awry?

July 27th, 2006 · 1 Comment

Working Energy

July 7th, 2006 · 3 Comments

(Holiday over. Back to work. On the el. Oh man, I remember going to work pregnant on the el every day and trying really hard not to throw up on people)
Gas is up. I got roped in to explaining gas production and nonrenerwable resources and world economics to the kids the other day, while Ken [...]

Funf meme

(Pause in the work study to say,”Weeha. Fire is captivating.”)
(Thanks Andrea for the nice tag to get me writing this week)

1. Until I finally tossed it last week, a stuffed bear dressed lushly as a major in a marching band, wearing shiny black boots that when you touched made him sing [...]

It is easier to think when you are by yourself. You can have these rounded-out thoughts, bouncing you to places you never would [...]
