Can’t seem to get images on the blog today. Maybe it is this new Vista? Anyway, imagine a picture of a pumpkin that says VOTE , well, just go to my other blog and see.
We’re on our way down to Grant Park to be part of the scene on the night of the election. Historic no doubt. We’re been keeping the radio and news in general off for the past 24 hours just to breath and reflect before the big event. Cheers!

Man, despite only having had a cup and a half of coffee I am a total jittery mess. I figure I’ll probably stick it out a little longer here at work and then take the rest of the day off.
Tonight the plan is to hopefully go to the Welcome Back America celebration (http://spacing.ca/wire/2008/10/28/welcome-back-america-november-4th-celebration/). Not sure if I can persuade Sage and Paul to go somewhere to watch the returns. My guess is Sage is going to want to hide somewhere until someone lets her know it’s over.

Can I just say that I am green, green, green with envy that you were at grant park? What a joyful scene that was!!! AHHH America! YAY Obama!

You’ll have to post about last night. It looked crazy there, I can only imagine the energy in the air. Obama’s speech made even Don, the forever cynic, hopeful for the future of our country.

oh, how amazing to have been part of that. I was watching the clips of the crowd and actually thought of you (though I hadn’t read this post yet).
Did you have fun?
