Gapers Block was gracious enough to point the way to the Obama rally Missed Connections for all of those who fell in love last night at the rally. Woohoo.
I’ll tell you what, I was there, and there was a whole lot of love being tossed around so I’m not surprised people are looking for their true love they barely got to glance upon before the vortex of people spun them apart for all eternity. I’m just kind of stunned anyone was as shy as all of these people purported to be feeling at the time. From what I recall, every single one of us was screaming our heads off and jumping for joy and clutching each other and crying and shouting and mumbling and congratulating and laughing and above all else, taking pictures. Its just that my computer still won’t let me post them here! Urgh.
So, to see my missed connections you’ll have to go to my other blog where I can still post pictures.

I am jealous that you got to experience all the excitement. For me, the election day was most anticlimactic. I knew I would be on the road, so I voted early. On the 4th, I was in a McCain section of Florida, with no TV, poor radio reception, using the NPR website to get election results.
My spirit was jumping up and down with you, even as I had a tame celebratory glass of wine with my mom.
What and awesome night!
